On Lokation

Fashion Retail Revolution

 

On Lokation represents a new age concept of retailing that bridges all elements of style and design.  It is a cross-marketing vehicle that develops partnerships with corporate and independent companies who embody similar styles and aesthetic values.  On Lokation is a lifestyle driven men and women’s retail concept. It is high fashion combined with art, architecture, interior design and music through a growing network of revolutionary artists. Its unconventional approach partly eschews the traditional brick and mortar retail structure by having monthly openings at different designed themed venues such as galleries, boutique hotels and theaters with colorful cocktails and sensuous rhythms.  In a phrase it is the ultimate retail and design hybrid.  

Challenges

On Lokation, not being a face for the traditional retail experience, had created a name for itself in the edgier circles of the fashion forward, musically oriented, and design conscious of the DC metropolitan area.  The business had an established customer base and their retail events had a devoted following. On Lokation was confident about their business but still needed to solidify their concept as “market worthy”. They were looking to expand their market reach, build more strategic partners for their business and communicate On Lokation as a brand that was innovative, disciplined and highly desirable in the market.      

Solution

We were highly enthusiastic about this project.  With a great interest in all things design we welcomed the challenge of creating an effective marketing strategy for this new client.  We researched and developed a portfolio of existing business ideas and concepts similar in nature to On Lokation’s and highlighted their strengths and weaknesses.  From here Cnvrgnc then created talking points for their marketing team for when they were engaged in conversations with potential sponsors and strategic partners. We then created a strategic plan and worked collaboratively with their marketing team to begin their expansion efforts into other markets.
